Tracey Foster, BA, MA, CHRL

Tracey is an experienced trainer, facilitator and coach with a demonstrated history in nonprofit organizations. She has extensive work experience as a leader in Human Resources Management. She has her Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation, MA in Leadership and Training and Third Party Neutral certification from the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution. Tracey is skilled in the areas of coaching, strategy development, facilitation, organizational design, employee engagement and inter-cultural effectiveness. She is an Associate Certified Coach and proud member of the International Coaching Federation.

 

Brian Jensen, BSc., MASc., MBA

Brian is an experienced executive leader with a long history of success in entrepreneurial start-ups and bootstrapped technology companies. He possesses deep knowledge and experience of the sales, service, marketing and business development strategies required to successfully launch new products and grow new companies. Brian has held key executive roles with multiple early stage technology companies and has built and provided leadership to successful, sales, pre-sales, service, marketing and product management teams. Brian holds a BSc. and MASc. from Carleton University and an MBA from the University of Ottawa and has completed studies at the Harvard Business School and Stanford University.

Annie Desilets, B.A., M.A.

Annie Desilets has partnered with leaders from a variety of international non-government organizations to develop solutions that provide the best possible outcome for the people they wish to serve. She brings non-violent communication to undertake difficult dialogues with individuals and groups. Annie approaches every interaction with compassion and empathy, quickly building trust at all levels. Designing and conducting stakeholder interviews is one of Annie’s biggest strengths, along with exceptional facilitation and coaching skills.

Tazeem Weljie, B.Kin., M.A.

Taz is a global strategy consultant with over 15 years of experience spanning six countries (Canada, China, Guyana, Japan, UK, and the US). She leads high engagement strategic planning processes to shape long-term futures of organizations including research, scenario creation, pressure tests, and strategy creation. Being a consultant and a global citizen has taught Taz to adapt to diverse cultures and to be curious, ask questions and challenge assumptions. It has taught her to drive solutions by challenging the status quo, and how to apply innovation and creativity in order to stay relevant and leading edge. Taz is well versed in assessing community needs through listening and learning processes and then developing and driving strategies to move organizations closer to their mission. She is a master relationship builder, fostering significant relationships with clients, government partners, funders, stakeholders and the community at large.

Annmarie Nicholson

Annmarie Nicholson joined the Royal Ottawa Health Care group in 2009 as the Director of Volunteer Services and manages over 400 volunteers in 60 different volunteer programs across 5 sites. Prior to joining The Royal, she worked with the Ottawa Distress Centre as their Manager of Educational Services and was also a part-time instructor at Algonquin College. Annmarie holds a Master’s level certification in Volunteer Management and Governance. Annmarie’s is certified to deliver the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s 2-day Mental Health First Aid workshop and brings 25 years of experience as a Master level trainer for LivingWorks’ ASIST Workshop. Annmarie also represents the Royal as a senior member on Ottawa’s Post Suicide Support Team. With a strong commitment to the belief that the collective wisdom of the group will always be far greater than the wisdom of one, Annmarie’s training style is energetic, engaging and collaborative.
